Fun fact, the NRA is a 501(c)(4) organization, making them a tax exempt non-profit like the ACLU and AARP. But unlike those reputable orgs who fit the legal description, “engaged in promoting in some way the common good and general welfare of the people of the community,” the NRA is clearly not promoting anything but gun manufacturers’ agendas. Time to write your reps and tell them to revoke the NRA’s tax exempt status.

We need transparency in Afghanistan.
In what is probably not a good sign, the Pentagon is censoring data about whether we’re winning in Afghanistan. The top U.S. watchdog on U.S. efforts in Afghanistan issued its quarterly report to Congress, harshly criticizing military officials for censoring information on the number of districts under control of the government or insurgent groups like the Taliban, information that has been shared publicly since 2008, but was censored in the latest report. Tell your elected officials to find out why the Pentagon is hiding this information from the American people.
Yup, Russia needs sanctions.
Since the president and his team are unwilling to defend us from Russia’s efforts to weaken our democracy, we must tell Congress to step in and pass legislation to sanction Russia so they know we’re serious.

Tell your representatives to pass legislation holding ICE accountable for the safety of our immigrants. Law abiding loved ones shouldn’t be deported on Valentine’s Day or any day!
